Hi, I am LisaKay, Mike's wife. I'm going to give you a little peek inside Mike's creation of Rosewater Kinetics. A little history to start. Mike and I were Team Truck Drivers for about 18 years. It was a very hard & very rewarding life. We delivered loads all over the lower 48 states (every state but Maine) 

We were blessed to see every state in every season. However, it's a hard life on ones body. That being said, Mike suffered an injury that ended our careers as Truck Drivers. In fact I almost lost him to those injuries. After 2 years of health battles (including a stroke) a friend of his introduced him to Indian Clubs.

Club Swinging started him on his road to recovery.  He turned his first set of Clubs (he still has that set) and he searched the internet on how to use them. This began a remarkable journey back to his health. Swinging Clubs helped repair brain function that was damaged. 

This was so amazing to us! Mike wanted to help other people that were also struggling with "health" issues. He did lots of research and spent countless hour talking to a few friends that have a ton of Knowledge about Indian Clubs.

Mike is a Certified Cabinet/Furniture builder and has always had a passion for woodworking. So, why not use this to help others? He began turning Clubs and sold them on Ebay. Then people started requesting custom clubs. BAM! Rosewater Kinetics was born.

Mike is the SOLE craftsman of RK Clubs. He has a small shop behind our home where he turns all of his Clubs. When we say "Small business USA" we mean it! The true artistry is born when he takes that piece of wood and turns it into a beautiful functional tool.

He has spent countless hours studying Indian Clubs, the shapes, sizes & styles. He takes what he finds to be functional & aesthetically pleasing and puts his own twist on it. Mike is Not a Traditionalist, He Is an Artist! 

He has also spent countless hours of research on wood finishes as well. If one is swinging Clubs for health it doesn't make sense to grind a chemical substance into ones skin. Water based finishes are what he prefers. Indian Clubs are all about functional movement and health.

The overwhelming feeling he gets when that perfect beautiful club comes off the lathe can not compare to the feeling he gets when he hears that his clubs have helped someone regain their health and mobility. So, that is just a little peek inside Mike and his creation of "Rosewater Kinetics"
